A rollator is a wheeled walking frame with brakes and a seat. This model uses a lightweight frame so it is easier to lift into a car boot, and has a padded seat for resting during longer walks.\n\nIt may be useful for someone who can walk but becomes tired or unsteady over distance, and who would benefit from being able to stop and sit. The loop brakes can also be locked to hold the rollator still while sitting down.\n\nImportant limitations: a rollator needs the user to be able to control the brakes and steer. It is not designed to take a person's full body weight leaning forward, and it is not a substitute for a wheelchair.
