Help choosing the right equipment, without the jargon

Whether you're buying for yourself, for a parent, or for someone you care for, we try to make the choice as clear and calm as possible.

Where would you like to start?

  • I'm buying for myself

Start with the thing you'd most like to make easier — walking further, getting in and out of the bath, or standing up from your chair.

  • I'm buying for a parent

You may be arranging things from a distance. Our product pages set out sizes, weight limits and what help is needed, so you can check before ordering.

What you can expect from us

  • Honest about what we are

We select products from established UK suppliers that we believe may be useful for people living independently at home. We don't give medical advice or clinical assessments.

  • Delivered to the door

Orders are fulfilled by our suppliers and delivered in the UK. Delivery times are shown on every product page before you order.

  • Someone to ask

If you'd rather talk it through before ordering, get in touch and we'll help you compare the options in our range.

A word on suitability

Equipment that suits one person may not suit another. Height, weight, bathroom size, how much someone can weight-bear and how much help is available all matter. Every product page has an "Is this suitable for me?" section covering what we know.

If you're unsure whether a product is suitable, please check with a healthcare professional, occupational therapist or qualified mobility specialist before ordering.
