How we choose products

We select products from established suppliers that we believe may be useful for people living independently at home. We look for equipment with clear specifications, sensible build quality and reliable UK supply, rather than trying to list as many items as possible.

We have not personally tested every product in the range. Where we describe what a product does, we base that on the manufacturer's and supplier's own specifications.

How orders are fulfilled

We do not hold stock ourselves. Orders are fulfilled directly by our UK suppliers, which keeps the range broad and the prices sensible. It also means delivery times vary by product, so each product page states what to expect.

What we don't do

• We do not provide medical advice or clinical assessments.
• We cannot guarantee that a product is suitable for a particular person.
• We do not publish reviews we have not genuinely received.

How we describe products

We describe what equipment is designed to do rather than promising outcomes. A grab rail can provide a firm handhold; a shower chair is designed to make sitting while bathing easier. Whether that helps a particular person depends on their circumstances, which is why professional advice matters for anything more involved.
