How Home Help Hub works
Home Help Hub started by helping senior adults, families and carers find practical help at home. The shop is a natural extension of that: a curated range of equipment, with information written to be understood.
- 1
We select a small range
Rather than listing thousands of items, we choose products that address a clear everyday need at home: moving around, bathing, getting up, sleeping and staying safer.
- 2
We write the information plainly
Each product page explains what it is, who it may help, what problem it addresses, how it works and its limitations — plus dimensions, weight limits and whether help or installation is needed.
- 3
You choose, with help if you want it
Browse by category or by need, or answer a few questions in the product finder. The finder suggests options from the range; it is not an assessment.
- 4
Our suppliers fulfil the order
We don't hold stock. When you order, the product is dispatched by the established UK supplier who stocks it, direct to the delivery address you give us.
- 5
We stay contactable
Questions about an order, delivery, a product or choosing between two options come to us, and we help as far as we reasonably can.
What we do
- Select products from established UK suppliers that we believe may be useful for people living independently at home.
- Explain products in plain English, including their limits.
- Show prices, delivery times and returns terms before you order.
- Publish guides to help you compare options.
What we don't do
- We don't manufacture products or hold our own stock.
- We don't provide medical advice or clinical assessments.
- We don't guarantee that a product suits a particular person.
- We don't claim to have personally tested every product.
Where we're heading
The current range is deliberately small and some listings are marked as demo while supplier agreements are confirmed. Over time we plan to connect supplier systems directly so stock, order tracking and delivery updates reach you automatically.
