A dual motor riser recliner controls the backrest and footrest separately, so the user can find a comfortable position rather than being limited to one fixed recline. At the press of a button the chair also tilts forward to help the user onto their feet.\n\nIt may suit someone who spends long periods sitting, who struggles to get out of a standard armchair, or who needs to change position regularly for comfort.\n\nImportant limitations: the chair must fit the person. Seat height, seat width and depth matter more than the fabric choice. It needs a mains socket and clearance behind for reclining.
